We are proud to partner with Waverley Social Enterprises, which employs over 340 people with disabilities across a range of social enterprise services.
Rob, a key member of Waverley’s Grounds Maintenance Team, has been working with Native Space at the Officer Fields Land Sales Office, which we landscaped and continue to maintain.
It’s a job that combines Rob’s love of the outdoors with practical skills and a strong sense of teamwork.
“I just like the camaraderie amongst the fellow workers here,” Rob said.
Rob’s practical know-how has a personal payoff.
“My parents are getting older and my dad won’t be able to mow the lawns at home much longer. At least now that I’ve got the skill set, I’m well prepared for it,” Rob said.
For Native Space, giving back to the community is how we leave our footprint.
