Engaged by Villawood Properties as the nominated Head Landscape Contractor, Native Space managed a seamless transition from civil construction through to the delivery of a vibrant and accessible community recreation space.
The project included extensive landscaping, with 2,442 plants installed alongside 10 advanced 100-litre trees, 182 45-litre trees, 114 200 mm potted shrubs and 2,442 140 mm potted shrubs. A large custom design-and-construct shelter anchors the space, complemented by seating walls, a drinking fountain and thoughtfully selected furniture with wheelchair access.
Recreational features include a large play tower with climbing components, flying fox equipment, a basketball court and combination goal posts, providing varied opportunities for play and physical activity. Through careful planning and coordinated delivery, Native Space completed the project two weeks ahead of schedule, allowing the community to enjoy the new space throughout the summer period.
